The Physical Oceanography Group of the University of Málaga (GOFIMA) created a new animation of the attitude dynamics of the ADCP moored in the Espartel Sill at the western exit of the Strait of Gibraltar.

The clip shows the three-dimensional movements (heading, pitch and roll) of the ADCP along with the weak heave of the buoy due to the strong westward bottom current. On the right side of the screen, the whole current profile captured by the ADCP is also shown, while on the top-right corner, the sea level anomaly in Tarifa is displayed.
